Going up to my second airsoft game, near Oshawa (ON) but closer to Bowmanville (ON). It's a big one too, around 150 to 175 players (~80 people per team), I'll be going down on the Friday the 12th with a 4-5 car convoy of the Ottawa Valley Airsoft group, camping out over night and playing Saturday.
Sadly all my gear is back in St. Andrews, if I had it here, it would cut the costs in half; so I'll be renting a gun, paying for a seat, and entrance fee. I'll try to take more pictures this time.
In other news, I pulled a near-all nighter to finish my English assignment, I had been researching one topic but decided to do a different one over the course of the weekend...which left me to do research and slowly force myself to write the essay. I was about to go to bed last night, but instead had a feeling that I didn't want to do any work Tuesday afternoon. So I stayed up, turned on my laptop and finished the second half of my essay. I also got the title page and bibliography put together. Now I have it all complete, and Tuesday afternoon off to write my blog and set up my ride for the weekend after thanksgiving weekend.
Sunday I was sore all over, I had only one welt on my wrist, but everywhere else ached as if I had been running around for 6 hours...oh wait...I was. Walking down stairs was the hardest, and getting out of chairs too. It was a pretty good workout, so I'll have to do that more often to get used to it.
Monday I was still sore, but decided to bring my laptop to Journalism class, which worked out great! The only problem was having to haul that extra 10 pounds to the other side of campus and back. Still, I can type faster than I can write my notes out on paper, so it'll probably be a good idea for Journalism class...also the desks in the auditorium for Journalism are just long slabs that have seats attached, just one big desk. The little pull out desktops in other classrooms would probably buckle under the weight of my laptop, so Journalism class is probably the only class I'll be bringing my laptop to.
Monday for lunch I had pizza, I took pepperoni, then noticed BBQ chicken pizza...I took a slice of that too. The BBQ chicken pizza was 10 times better than regular pepperoni! I came back at supper and had 3 more slices of BBQ chicken. Not the healthiest meal, but tasty! I finally found some side meals like rice and noodles for dinner as well to go along with the greasy foods I eat.
I'm looking forward to the 4-day Thanksgiving day weekend, should be a blast. I'll probably try and head down to the theatre and catch a movie, not sure if Chris & Anna have any plans for the weekend, maybe I'll meet up with them :)
Cheers,
Andrew

You get 4 days?? Not fair!!! When do your midterms start? Mine are next week... So it will be a study weekend for sure.
Glad you found something cool to do on your time off, try to get some more pictures next time. :)
Steph
No idea about midterms, none of our teachers have mentioned them yet.
I normally have Friday's off, so with Monday off for thanksgiving, that makes 4 days off :)
I'll make sure I take lots of pictures next time, maybe some videos too!
TTYL,
Andrew
Maybe going to the gym will get you in shape :)
lol. I'm sure it would, I just need to find time to do it and then make it a routine :)
