St. Patrick's Day morning, we had these girls behind our house in the nearby parking lot, perhaps pre-drinking for the long night ahead. They had some speakers and music going for the whole time they were there.
My budget St. Patty's Day snack. I didn't have any actual nachos so I supplemented these fine crackers instead. I didn't have any good cheese, so I used processed cheese instead. Topped everything off with 1/4 bottle of Tiger Sauce (pronounced TIGER SAUCE!!!), and some ground chili peppers. I had my last Guinness, since it's Irish and it was St. Patrick's Day...and because it's been in my mini-fridge since my Birthday.
Aside from this light snack before dinner, I didn't really do anything special for St. Patrick's Day...it was a night spent indoors at home.
A couple shots from the Ottawa Flickr group meet that Karl and I went to tonight, it was very fun and very enjoyable. I got to meet a lot of new people who are photography enthusiasts. Some of the cameras there were giants compared to my camera, with lenses as long as my forearm. Karl and I had some lasagna at home (thanks to Chris!) so when we got to the group meet up we just had dessert. We both got the Fudge Cake...no ordinary cake though...this thing had Two giant brownie/fudge cake pieces that were sandwiching a giant ball of ice cream, and the entire thing was surrounded by mountains of whipped cream. Very tasty and probably very unhealthy. I also got a glass of Guinness, which I'm starting to get used to, and still wasn't ID'd.
In fact I've not been ID'd at all when buying liquor, but I was ID'd to buy a video game :D
That's all for now, I'll try to get some pictures of my dessert up soon.
